Hot on the heels of the last 3angle films release “Trapped” comes this epic tale, (told in 2 minutes) of a young chap who is bored out of his tiny mind.

What mad japes can you expect in this caper I hear you ask? Well none to be honest its about boredom. Its shot by me cut by me scored by me and it stars um me. It was all done one boring afternoon, one boring summer back in boring 2003 on a boring webcam.

Prepare to be bored, Prepare for ‘Ennui’.

Ok after such an amazing intro I’m sure you are positively salivating over the prospect of so much meaty me-ness in one go so get your chompers round it kit and kaboodle right here

I just finished uploading the first 3angle films short ‘Trapped’ I’m all happy excited and well a bit demented really, but glad its finally finished.

Wow my head is all over the place at the minute what with everything I have going on. I noticed I usually like to take my time over things - but its because otherwise my brain tends to implode at the idea of doing too much at once as much as it is me lengthening my own enjoyment of doing a task well.

I’m definately wired for bursts of intense concentration on a single subject rather than doing lots of things at once. Which is ridiculous as I have a tendancy toward giving myself ludicrous amounts to do at any time. Maybe I need to sit back and figure out the few important things and concentrate on those instead of rushing about like a mad thing.

Anyway what’s new? I moved into my new place (that’s move number 4 since last summer, for those of you who like stats). It’s a nice tidy shared house with other people who are all working; 1 greek guy, 1 norwegian chap and and a girl I’ve yet to meet. Still not shifted all my gear from my last place either so my room consists of basically: a bed, a desk, a chair and a computer.

Oh and my acoustic guitar. I felt really bad as I’ve completely ignored her since I got Jemima (my golden fender strat). In fact I just realised I still haven’t given her a name yet. I’m digressing, I was going to state how much my playing has improved since I moved into this place - I didn’t have my computer for about a week so I had nothing much else to do whilst in my room but play guitar, sleep or read.

Since then I been practising daily for a good couple of hours on average which has helped me develop a good strumming rhythm as well as enjoying the sound of an acoustic once more. So Jemima has competition, although I am getting severe withdrawal symptoms and I really can’t wait till she gets delivered so I can devote the best part of a day to wailing out and trying out some new techniques.

Meanwhile back to editing for me today. I went shooting on Saturday and for the first time in a long time i was really impressed by the results, mainly because we are getting used to our normal high standards, but the footage from Saturdays vox pops was really lifting it up a notch, kudos has to go to Robin’s shot composition, it’s really coming along nicely now. The great weather helped too

Anyway back to multi-tasking like a mad one.

Those who know me, may well already be aware that my mother, Rosemary, recently fell ill with a rare form of arthritis known as polymyositis/dermatomyositis. After a long 4 and half months spent in hospital, she has slowly improved. However, she has never fully recovered from the disease.

Therefore my crazy assed younger siblings have decided to partake in a sponsored Skydive in order to raise money for the charity ARC.

Arthritis causes long term health problems for more than one in seven adults and many thousands of children. Please take the time to donate some money to this worthwhile cause.

I was going to link every single blog i voted for on the 2006 bloggies awards page but then i got bored after the political blogs and gave up - sorry to those of you who missed out on this once in a lifetime opportunity but you can blame the people at Bloggies for having a ridiculous amount of categories and making yours so far down…

I am frankly shocked and appalled that my own fascinating meanderings were not considered bloggieable (?) by the general public and either of my readers.

I feel I must also apologise to those of you who I trimmed from my blogroll (as some of you will no doubt whinge or feel unloved) but with all the latest additions I had to take action against all those who didn’t bother to link back to me on their own blog. Tough love I know and if you want your link back then earn it by reciprocating and giving my ramblings more exposure dammit!
