StarGirl

I used to dream I would be abducted by this beautiful space princess
The girl from space who would come down to earth just for me,
and steal me away to another place.
We lived there alone, on our own special world, in our own special house.
We ran around holding hands, looking at strange and wonderful things together
We couldn’t talk the same language, but it didn’t matter to us,
we knew what each other was thinking by looking in each others eyes,
I could tell she loved me because she had special eyes,
Special eyes with stars in the middle.

Stargirl.

But who is she….? I doubt you will ever find a girl like that…..and if u did, would u even recognise it…?

I mean….we all have childhood dreams….but do they ever become reality…like if you *did* find her….whatcha guna do?

    Sounds like an exciting dream…

We’d live on another planet eating fruit and seeds and drink from pure streams of mineral enriched water. We’d play in rocky mountains, climbing tree’s and chasing each other through open fields, knowing we were the only two people in the world.

I bet she is some firey vixen…the type who could rip your heart out….

    Advice from a friend….

    Proceed with caution…

Dude…………sounds alot like cosmic girl by jamiroquai….were you listening to that when you used to go to sleep?
    Yak yak……slaters dude.

  7. Simon Says:

Well not exactly, as its a dream I had as a kid back in the days before Jamiroquai and is about an actual space princess from another world (she was blue in the dreams and not unlike a smurf - which is more likely the inspiration behind the dream).

Cosmic Girl is about a girl who JK sees on the dancefloor, who he feels is so attractive that he implies she must be from another planet. He then proceeds to use science-fiction metaphor to describe the way she makes him feel. For example “sends me into hyperspace when I see her pretty face”

In other words its a song about a series of cheesy chat up lines applied to some fit chick and not a dream about a pure innocent love that you could only really imagine as a child…
