Hmmm. Upgrades.

I’m in the middle of upgrading to Wordpress 2.1 so please bear with me and normal service will be resumed shortly.

Might take a while as I decided to do it in between putting up a curtain rail and tidying the kitchen cupboards out…

    Thusfar, I’ve been afraid to do this (I’m on 1.5 something) - not sure if all my plugins will work. Did it go smoothly? And more to the point, is it any better?

    BTW, I love the changing header graphic. Is this a plugin or is this part of the 2.0 changes?

    The upgrade went pretty smoothly, yeah, but I did have problems with some plugins… Might be worth checking to see if they have updated them for 2.

    The changing header graphic is a bit of php - love to say I invented it myself but I got it from http://automaticlabs.com/products/rotator and used http://www.janicek.com/archives/2005/02/23/rotating-image-banner-for-kubrick/ to help install it into this kubrick layout.

    There’s a fair amount of change in the admin panel but is it any better… I suppose i wouldn’t go back to 1.5 now…

    I’m using the Semiologic plugin and layout, but I moded a bunch of stuff in it. Hopefully this won’t cause issues in 2.01. Maybe I’ll give it a go this weekend.
