This is the circus, everybody’s trying not to go home.

I moved into my new ‘room‘ it’s a better location for Uni which is a shame as I have now graduated :) so won’t be needing that advantage any more.

Looking over my last post it is funny how right I was - I managed to just about squeeze myself into this room amongst all the boxes and extra furniture. It really is ridiculous how much stuff you collect over 3 years, mind you a lot of my stuff i bought for the benefit of the whole house when we all moved in together and now that we have all gone our seperate ways I have been left holding onto a lot of it. At least I gave the garden furniture and the bbq to my flatmate - otherwise I would have that in here as well…

Click here for some graduation pictures of me and the rest of “Team Film”.

Moving House. Hey, where are all my comic books?

Cripes I have to finish packing the kitchen and I have not done it because I have been playing this awesome flash game . Bad Vitenka gives cheats :(

Anyway next time I add to this I will be snuggled up in my new room. Surrounded by boxes and excess furniture no doubt.

I think you gave me TOO much time, Captain.

What a week… First it’s my brithday then I graduated, had the parents down then spent the rest of the week cleaning the house from top to bottom and moving all my gear into the bottom room and I’m still not finished and I’ve been applying for jobs and looking for accomodation and I’ve got about 4 days to find somewhere to stay.

One of my all-time favourite people James Doohan (aka Scotty or Montgomery Scott of Star Trek Fame) passed away on Wednesday. :( I wish everything would start to calm down again, I can’t take too much more excitement at the moment.

Oh and Science got evicted from the Big Brother House as well.

That just leaves a bunch of backstabbing spineless gits in there so bang goes any enjoyment I might have gleaned from watching Science increase their agony.

Time waits for no man.

EEEEP! I have 6 days to get a job and move into a new flat before I get kicked out of my current one. I will probably have to move out before I have the job part as I have run out of time. Anyway no time to chat I need to get on with cleaning up this house to leave it looking nice and shiny for the next batch of students to annoy my neighbours by letting it degrade slowly over the next 2-3 years. Anyone able to tell me where would be a nice and relatively cheap place to stay in london or close enough to commute? Much appreciated.

Graduated!

I just graduated and I had oysters for lunch. Today was a good day.

Good relations with the Wookies, I have.

I watched Star Wars Episode III finally and I was not overly impressed. It is easily the best of the three new films, mainly because it acknowledges the original trilogy to a much wider degree. Therefore it is far more of a great film for Star Wars fans for everyone else its just a decent jaunt into a Galaxy far far away.

Which Fantasy/SciFi Character Are You?

1 day to go till Graduation and all my family and friends etc are coming here today so I best get on with cleaning and organising. Wish I had an army of clones…

Cyberpunk Fiction

Sunday, July 17th, 2005

Not so much a post as a reminder of certain books I need to read:

Some people would argue over whether all of these are cyberpunk (including me), but hey…

Bruce Sterling, Ed: Mirrorshades The Cyberpunk Anthology.

William Gibson: Pattern Recognition

Bruce Sterling: Islands in the Net; Crystal Express and Globalhead (shorts).

Pat Cadigan, Rudy Rucker, Lewis Shiner, John Shirley

Richard Kadrey: Metrophage (online, do a search).

Walter Jon Williams: Hardwired.

Yukito Kishiro: Battle Angel Alita (manga/comic)

I basically edited a list I found here to include only the stuff I have not read and the stuff I want to read.
